Character Design/Final Design
Initial character design sculpted in zBrush and rendered in Marmoset. I stuck with an abstract theme and tried to keep the character as abstract as possible, however I feel like I need to go back into this and change a lot of the design choices I made.
The character could do with more variation in texture and some more defined features as well as a more recognizable silhouette.

Below is the final design for my character, complete with Mini Squid characters which I plan to make into some sort of powerup for my game. I sharpened up my character using new zBrush knowledge that I have acquired through specialist sessions to a point where I am happy with it.
I defined and experimented with new proportions by playing with masking and the deformation menu as well as applying various alphas and brushes to create texture and bring ol' squiddy to life some more. As the game will be fast and I plan to make the mini squids come and go, I chose to keep them rather low poly and not put too much detail into them.
