BA2b: Fine Art Collaboration

For our second collaboration project, I will be grouped together with members from my course as well as Fine Art.

- After meeting with my group, we concepted our ideas and iterated what film we could create within the given time and according to our designated word - Rabbit.

At first we wanted to delve into a more comedic, parody based sketch involving multiple costumes and some sort of mangled, handmade rabbit effigy. This idea turned out to be a little too far fetched for what little time we had! We then decided that we would create small cubes with rabbits sketched each side of the cube - creating a rough 3D effect.

This idea went smoothly enough and we created a rough narrative during recording. My role in the recording was to play a thief who attempted to steal the box-rabbit from our main character in the film.

Recording went smoothly and editing was done by another student in their time at home. We opted for a more cheerful soundtrack as our film had no real intense meaning or underlying thoughts.

It was definitely a change of pace working with new people, especially from a different course! This also allowed me insight into how other courses go about their idea generation and iteration - far different from the methods I use as a concept artist.
